The Sales Manager assists sales team, new and used car buyers with their financing and product needs. General Sales Managers work with our financial lenders to acquire approvals and funding for customers. As with all positions within our dealerships, General Sales Managers are expected to uphold the highest ethical standards and follow the Federal Safeguard and Red Flag rules and standards.

Must be able to manage multiple customers and work with Product Specialists. Must be able to greet customers with a smile and be able to translate the customers’ automotive needs, as well as explain vehicle services to the customer. We are a family-oriented business looking for a team player.

We provide ongoing training and future career opportunities & promotions for employees. We prefer to promote in-house and we will train those new to the automotive industry who desire a career.

Qualifications:

  • Sales Managers are required to understand and keep abreast of the federal, state, and local regulations that affect their operations
  • Offering vehicle financing to customers and providing them with a thorough explanation of aftermarket products and extended service agreements with a complete explanation of manufacturer and dealership benefits, service procedures, and policies
  • Preparing & processing sales deals and leasing deals accurately
  • Securing approval through financial sources while complying with the proper federal & state regulations
  • Staying up-to-date on the department’s contracts in transit ensuring timely cash flow
  • F&I Managers are required to understand and keep abreast of the federal, state, and local regulations that affect their operations.
  • AFIP Certified a PLUS

Job Requirements:

  • Having at least 3 years of dealership Sales Manager experience including secondary financing is desired. (willing to train the right candidate)
  • Proven track record
  • Notary Public
  • Strong record of positive customer satisfaction results
  • Team oriented
  • Excellent track record with financial institutions
  • Works with Product Specialists to receive leads.
  • Maintain great communication with your customers.
  • Ensure that proper and ethical sales techniques are being used
  • Offers additional services to customers.
  • Meets the dealership’s standards for Sale Department.
  • Maintain GM / Stellantis required training
  • Maintain accurate records and, follow all manufacturer requirements as outlined in manufacturer and company policy and procedures manuals
  • Maintains an organized, clean, and safe work area
  • Participates in required training
  • Follows Safeguards rules and regulations.
  • Observe all Federal, State, Local, and Company safety rules and regulations in performing duties.
  • Valid Driver’s License and clean driving record
  • Pass a drug/background screen
  • Other duties as assigned

MUST HAVE PRIOR EXPERIENCE IN DEALERSHIP F&I AND SALES MANAGER

(in person face-to-face sales experience is preferred, but we will consider phone call sales experience)
